# Experience Digital Transformation

Experience · Explore · Build · Transform

One login, one portal, one wallet for all of your documents. Many services, but one connected government.

Achieving this minimum digital transformation experience is a goal shared by every country. Reaching it, however, requires careful planning, enabling policies and regulations, sound procurement, digital infrastructure that is actually built, interoperability frameworks that allow systems to work together and, increasingly, the capacity to put artificial intelligence (AI) to work. This calls for a wide range of skills and resources, which few governments have in-house all at once.

This Experience Digital Transformation Knowledge Base helps governments turn these concepts into something they can see, test and implement. It brings together a suite of knowledge products covering planning, enabling policy, shared infrastructure and citizen-facing services, alongside the practical materials that make them usable: reference implementations that can be deployed and tested, AI tools that turn specifications into working code or support policy development, and expert-led videos that shorten the learning curve. Throughout, the **Education** sector serves as a recurring real-world example.

Developed in support of [Giga](https://giga.global/) and built on a foundation of expert knowledge and [GovStack](https://govstack.global/) specifications, the Knowledge Base equips governments to approach digital transformation as confident, informed buyers. It helps them understand the available options, define requirements and evaluate solutions, while retaining full agency over what they procure or build.

### Ask Anything

Ask a question in plain language and get an answer drawn directly from the knowledge products - no need to know which resource to open first.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://experience-digital-transform.gitbook.io/experience-digital-transformation/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
